Daily Extension Care

Of course you have to care for your extensions they’re an investment.

Before styling:

• Brush and comb thoroughly

• Apply a hair serum/ heat protectant if you have a texture that requires heat styling ( Remember: less is more)

• For curly or wavy textures that are usually worn in its natural state, spray with water, apply leave in conditioner, and use a denman brush or fingers to enhance the texture.

• Excessive product may lead to tangling, matting and less movement in the hair.

• Similar to natural hair keep in mind excessive heat styling to prevent heat damage.

  Curly/Wavy Textures

  Our Curly textures usually require more maintenence.

• Curly hair loves moisture, so be sure to keep up with Deep Conditioners.

• You may use a leave in conditioner/ hair pudding to define curls with the help of a denman brush or fingers.

• When shampooing your curly extensions be sure to work in sections to avoid tangling.

• When styling curly hair avoid over manipulation of the curls as this will result in frizzy hair.

• Allow to air dry and if you decide to use a diffuser use the low cool setting on the blow dryer.
